Admission
The InTOuCH program accepts trainees each fall and spring. Accepted applicants must be able to commit to the training schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the entire eight weeks of the program.
Cost
The training is free.
Eligibility
- Strong ties to the community
- High school diploma, GED, or several years of community work experience
- No hearing, visual, or memory impairment
- Commitment to attend all training sessionsAbility to read and write in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Access to email and a computer or laptop
Schedule
The eight-week program follows a hybrid model. The first six weeks are held via Zoom, and the last two weeks are held in person at Columbia's Center for Community Health.
