Glenn L. McMillan Sr.
Glenn McMillan began his relationship with Columbia University as a community health worker in 2018 as a part of Institute for Training Outreach and Community Health (InTOuCH). Mr. McMillan came to Columbia with 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving as a financial industry regulator in several executive roles.
Throughout his career, McMillan participated in numerous partnerships between financial industry leaders and the New York City Department of Education to provide mentorship to young African American students who had no previous exposure to Wall Street and numerous other community initiatives. Since joining Columbia, McMillan has received training in community health with a focus on cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, nutrition, and mental health. He also participates in several clinical research studies, namely, TRIUMPH (Transforming your Mental Health through Prayer and Healing) Depression Study and CHURCH, which focuses on colorectal cancer prevention in the African American community.
